PCSchool Terms and explanations:
On each page, you can choose to update items and then click save. This will notify us to check and verify changes. If you have finished updating and saving, you can close the browser window.
Primary vs Alternative – you will see this occur in PCSchool. Primary is the main point of contact for different circumstances (eg email) – more than one caregiver can be Primary.
Contact Details – Caregiver contact details
- General Email – this is the email that you can use to login. General emails must be unique to an individual. If a caregiver has no email, they can not login to PCSchool or Schoolbox.
For staff, this is your personal email - Accounts Email – the email that accounts go to. You can have more than one
- Receive General Emails (All Students) – Select Yes to be able to receive emails
- Mobile – if entering a mobile, please put the country code in first eg 642121…
My Address – This is your postal address
Student Details Pages
- Emergency Contacts – as caregivers are considered first as emergency contact, you may not need to add any.
- Communication Options – Contact in Emergency – Which person would you like to be the Primary contact
